Tried this out the other night. Absolutely delicious, super easy, and healthy. Go figure.
1 (12 inch) cedar plank
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 2 hours and up to 12
- Preheat the oven to 325.
- In small bowl, mix all ingredients (minus the salmon).
- Place salmon on the plank, skin side down. Spoon the mixture over the salmon so it is fully coated.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the fillet can be flaked with a fork.
I served with a baked potato and sautéed spinach and garlic. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture, but it was amazing I swear.
